About Ivystar

Ivystar is a space for students to practice, connect, be bold, and build confidence without fear of judgment. Incubated at Harvard Innovation Labs since 2024, we connect students with mentors who’ve walked similar paths and remember what it feels like to be figuring things out. This platform may be new, but the heart behind it isn’t. Since 2012, our founder has worked with families to create learning spaces that feel personal, joyful, and full of possibility. And through it all, one belief stayed the same: The right mentor can change a life. At Ivystar, we help students do more than get answers. We help them build systems that work for them, from organizing their day and planning for college to exploring who they want to become. We also encourage students to dream big and pursue bucket list learning: things they’ve always wanted to try, master, or understand.. just because it lights them up. Every student deserves support that fits the way they think and grow. Because success isn’t one-size-fits-all. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
