Create your Ivystar account as a mentor and confirm your email address to activate your profile.
Create Your Ivystar Account3. Set Up Your Mentor Profile
Ivystar is a private, anonymous platform: no profile photos, full names, or social media links. Instead, focus on what matters: your values, passions, and the kind of support you’re excited to offer students.
4. Explore Sample Profiles for Inspiration
Browse sample profiles across our three categories—Academic, Career, and Creative—to help shape your own. Include the systems you use, fun facts, and a glimpse into your approach to learning and mentoring. Note: You’ll need to be logged in to view the sample profiles.

During the interview, we’ll review your profile together and get to know your mentoring style, mindset, values, and overall fit for the Ivystar community. To ensure a high-quality experience for our students, we evaluate each application and invite mentors whose approach closely aligns with our mission.
6. Set Up & Create Your Sessions
Once your interview and background check are successfully completed, your mentor profile will be approved and go live. You’ll then be able to create your session offerings and set your availability so students can find and book with you. Be sure to have your bank details ready to receive payments.
